2016.09.27 Hebe Confirmed For [Battle For Voice]
Hebe will join an all new reality singing show in China, titled Battle for Voice (聲音的戰爭). This will mark her first-ever appearance as a permanent line-up in any reality show of a music genre. The program will invite the public and lesser known singers to challenge the star-studded line-up weekly. There will be no competition in stages nor will there be any elimination after each week’s show. At the end of the show, these challengers stand a chance to perform on the stage of a charity concert.
In addition to Hebe, A-mei, Jam Hsiao and Yu Quan are also amongst the line-up of the permanent casts for the show. The show is confirmed for 12 episodes, spanning 3 months of broadcast time and will begin recording this year end. When interviewed, Hebe shared that “there were many ‘firsts’ in my career this year and this (program) will be another first. I feel that moving out of my comfort zone and be able to see more, hear more and learn more is a great way to gain more insights and knowledge, it opens minds. I hope I can enjoy the process and have fun on the show!”
