Many may think she distances herself from others.

But if you meet her off screen, she exudes a sense of purity and sincerity.

Since her solo debut, Hebe not only had her good friends rooting for her, but also a very strong support from her fans. All these positive energy had helped her to hold on and stay focused in her pursuit of a singing career.

Throughout this journey, she constantly broke through her own limits and surprised everyone.

From her previous album “Insignificance”, which exhibited her peaceful inner soul, to the latest work, “day by day” which presented her positive and relaxed outlook on life, she now loves everything simple, beautiful and meaningful, enjoying every moment to its fullest.

Q: What is your favourite song in this album and why do you love it?
A: Oh! Wanting a mother to pick her favourite child amongst the children she gave birth to, is really making things very difficult!
Every song was painstakingly produced, all of which are my blood and flesh, all of them are number 1 hits to me! So I really can’t pick out any, every song is number 1 in my heart!

Performance

no matter how packed the performing schedule is,

so long as all of you are there with me, it is all worth it!”

Q: Not long ago you held your solo concert in Hong Kong, was there anything you found challenging or fun?
A: Although it was not my first time singing a Cantonese song, but it was my first having to complete an entire song from start to end.
I used to only have to worry and focus on one-third of the lyrics/song, since we used to sing together (as S.H.E), but now I have to spend an additional two-thirds of the time to practice Cantonese! (laughs) Choosing to sing “Unconditional” is because I really liked the song! Everyone can also listen to Eason Chan’s version and experience for yourself the beauty of this song!

Life

“The happiness I yearn for, is simple.

Being with the people I love,

doing a job I enjoy!”

Q: What is the moment that you feel the happiest in a day?
A: Eating something nice, seeing beautiful scenery, bumping into people I love, meeting like-minded people at work and when I end the day from work.

Love

“I may not have blood sisters,

but I have two wonderful sisters

so everyday I feel super loved!”

Q: What do you find is the greatest thing about being a member of S.H.E?
A: My mum may not have given birth to any other daughter for me to have as sisters, but I have 2 god-sent superb sisters. They love me and are forgiving to me, I have learnt very much from them, so I feel extremely fortunate!
