2016.02.12 Celebrity Chef – Hebe insists on cooking least popular New Year dish
It is the Lunar New Year and families are feasting on dishes they may only eat just once a year. In part of Apple Daily’s Celebrity Chef series, Hebe is invited to teach viewers how to cook a New Year dish she enjoys. In the video below, Hebe demonstrates the dish – 長年菜雞湯 (Longevity Vegetable Chicken Soup). Despite hitting the internet polls as winner of “The New Year Dish I Never Want To See Again”, Hebe insists standing by her dish selection and defended the dish by saying, “It must have been because those people did not get to taste a good version of it yet.”
As she adds salt to flavour the soup, Hebe suggested it is a great time to say some auspicious words (or cast some spells, for the matter). To which, Hebe chants, “Hopefully in the new year I will be able to turn in early and wake up early, don’t be late any more, Fu Zhen.” The reporters laughed away, while she sheepishly smiled.

The reporter quipped, “never should anyone offend Hebe”.
Lol I missed getting Hebe’s updates. The end was so funny when the reporter’s voice got all shaky and Hebe replied in such a gentle voice XD. It’s not the first time that she carried a knife and people was scared by her (back during Play album in a show she picked the biggest fake knife for some reason)
