2015.08.12 Hebe attends Jody Chiang’s Concert
Hebe attends Jody’s farewell concert tour in Taipei with her parents yesterday night. Titled ‘Best Wishes to You’, Hebe thanks Jody for loving and taking care of all her Taiwan fans by gifting them the best wishes through a concert tour and hopes all concert-goers likewise can give their best wishes to Jody. She finds Jody extremely admirable for her stamina and commitment in holding 20 over concert sessions in her last tour. It is with much reluctance and sadness to see Jody leave the industry, making it one of the circle’s biggets loss.
On the journey to the concert venue with her parents, Hebe’s father candidly mentioned that although he is here to watch Jody’s farewell concert, he looks forth to Jody’s comeback concert one day. This speaks volume of how much the singer is missed and well-loved. Hebe’s mother offered a possible second career for Jody – to teach Hebe singing since Jody is so great at it.
When asked about her favourite song from Jody, Hebe singled out 藝界人生 (An Entertainer’s Life), where she really hoped to hear it on the concert but is unfortunately not on the song list. Still, Hebe is contented and happy to listen to any song from Jody, as every note and word sung by Jody is a best parting gift and wish from the bottom of Jody’s heart. Hebe turned down the request of singing a line from a song of Jody’s as she feels the song must be well-prepared before she is willing to sing it. Reporters then asked if Hebe found it a pity to not have collaborated with Jody, to which Hebe quickly answered that S.H.E had the honor of attending the concert as a performing guest. That experience is, to her, considered a collaboration as they performed together onstage as well.
As Ella had previously worked with Jody on a song, Hebe was asked if she was envious of Ella. Hebe first expressed she loved that song very much as well and was not the least envious, in fact she was extremely happy and felt the both of them complemented each other very well.

At the 2:28 mark, Hebe asked the reporters if she was supposed to walk quickly or slowly. A reporter replied her, saying she could walk a bit faster. Hebe did not fully catch the response as she was joking, “how about walking in a more fashionable way?”, to which the reporter laughed.
