2015.07.02 Hebe’s kind acts

In the recent Formosa water park explosion incident in New Taipei city, S.H.E and Selina’s husband are extremely concerned about the victims, many in their young 10s and 20s. Apart from urging via social media for the victims’ families to contact Sunshine Social Welfare Foundation (a public-driven non-profit organisation providing specialised care for burn victims), they have also encourage public to donate to the foundation and are hoping the victims find the will to fight on their injuries. The foundation is the same one which has been supporting Selina through her recovery process.

Many celebrities including Jolin Tsai, Jay Chou and Stefanie Sun have responded to requests from families and friends of the victims to record messages of support. Not surprisingly, the girls have received such requests as well, despite media having not caught wind of it.
When a fan recently met Hebe after a public event on 2nd July, she unknowingly found out about the kind act. You can read the translated message below. However, please do not post to Hebe’s wall or @ her in any social media as Hebe prefers to keep it low-profiled. She rather have the media report on other more substantial and important matters.

This is also not Hebe’s first time having done such a recording. She has previously recorded a voice message earlier this year in February for a 19 years old fan who was in a coma after a serious car accident. Unfortunately, the girl passed away on March 6th after succumbing to her injuries. You can  listen to the voice message below as well.

I have a great idol, when I told her the Formosa Waterpark explosion incident had a victim who is her fan, and that his family and friends left a message on her faceboook book, hoping she can record a voice message to send him well-wishes, she half-frowned and very attentively listened to me completing my sentences. Then she asked me who is it, what is his name? She mentioned she has recorded many voice messages today, hence she hoped I can name the person, to ensure she can help him, but truth is, I merely saw my relative’s message, so I could not name him. Seeing that I had difficulty answering, she responded that she will go back and take notice again, but the messages on her wall is refreshing too quickly, but she will definitely take note of it. When I finally found that message and showed it to her on my phone, she took my phone and very carefully read every single word of that message, confirming she had recorded a voice message for this fan earlier on before leaving.
