2015.06.27 S.H.E covers Mayday’s song in Herstory 女也

As part of Mayday’s collaboration plans with female singers in the latest album release, Herstory 女也, S.H.E covered Mayday’s 離開地球表面 Leaving the Earth’s Surface. The album consisted of 10 different groups of female voices in the Mandopop market and each singer covered a song of Mayday’s, with musical re-arrangements for the singer to inject a brand new life to the songs.

S.H.E’s version of the song saw a more electro-dance pop version of the original rock song. It is also a relatively rare instance of such a hyped up performance of the gals in recent years on album, as their styles have matured and slightly drifted away from such genres.
