2014.03.27 QQ Music Awards

Hebe attended the 1st QQ Music Awards in Shen Chuan, China on 27th March.
She won 3 awards at the ceremony: Best Album, Best Female Singer (Hong Kong & Taiwan Region) and 2014 Top Ten Singles (Insignificance). She also performed 渺小 Insignificance and 你就不要想起我 Don’t You Think Of Me at the ceremony.

You can watch Hebe’s live performance in the video below. As for the award videos, I’m still searching for some good quality ones as most videos have freeze frames due to live streaming issues. I will update again once I find them.

Interestingly, Selina is also the host of the awards ceremony, along with Mickey Huang.

I’m not sure if she was feeling unwell or just in a bad condition, she didn’t perform as well as she usually did. Felt like her voice was not projecting well and was kind of ‘stuck in her throat’.
You can see her getting frustrated right after she missed the high note of the second song 你就不要想起我.Some fans have said the live sounded better, probably in part due to the missing echo/reverb etc that is missing in the broadcast version.
