The song that Hebe shared, <Still In Happiness> / <Be In Bliss> comes from her second album <My Love>. When she was singing this song for her album, she felt that she was someone who cannot sing.

During the recording period for her second album and for this song specifically, Hebe was having her period and her voice was somehow affected, being ‘puffy’ and was not as clear as it should be. So, on the first day of the recording, all her efforts had gone to waste as the producer rejected all of her attempts. On the second day when she continued, the producer constantly requested her to drink more water to clear her throat and her voice, asking her to take breaks or have a cough drop. However, that was the state her vice was in during that period and there was nothing she could do except to continue trying harder to sing. Her recordings that day were still rejected by the producer and on the third day, she continued with the song. The producer requested time and again for her to achieve a clear tone and aim for a clean singing. But when the voice is just not in the right condition, there is really nothing that she could do.

Eventually, she rushed out of the recording studio (the very same one she is seen in the video), went into the toilet and teared alone. But the emotions within her was so immense that tearing could not ease her sadness and disappointment in herself. When she bumped into a colleague after she came out, she hugged him and started crying really badly, “I feel that I cannot sing, I really cannot sing, I don’t want to sing anymore. I don’t want to!” She kept repeating the same sentences over whilst crying and was sobbing so badly that her whole body was in sweat. While her colleague consoled her, she suddenly heard cries from next door (Selina was having her physiotherapy sessions in the next room beside where Hebe was). And so, Hebe immediately stopped crying and rushed next door to console Selina. After Selina got better, Hebe returned to the recording studio and finally managed to finish the song.

At the end of the video she demonstrates the song and emphasizes that you need to use a cry-like tone when singing. She jokingly said that she doesn’t really think much of her own cry-like tone, and rolled her eyes.
