Apple Daily recently interviewed Hebe and released the following video clip.

In the video, Hebe shares that she has no confidence on her acting skills, probably because she is so rational that she can’t immerse herself into the romantic/dramatic situations of the script. As such, she has fears in acting. She also wonders if she is really too rational or is she too protective of herself that she only allows herself to really cry at home when she is alone. The most recent incident where she cried was when she watched the online trailer of <Twelve Nights> (a documentary about dogs brought into the shelter and are only given 12 days before they are put to sleep).

When asked about her attitude in love and if her rational side spills into her relationships, she admits that before she enters into a relationship she is relatively rational. Once she falls in love, she does become more passionate and will have no qualms about letting the other half know her completely and is comfortable in revealing all her emotions to the person. As for the constant rumors these years about her sexuality since she is often photographed around females only, she reveals that she isn’t too bothered by the rumors.

It is really funny when the reporter tries to ask for a clear indication from Hebe on her sexuality, if she had ever thought that being a lesbian is not a bad idea. He phrased the question really long and it is so amusing to see Hebe’s reaction during the question and his sigh of relief when he finally got the question out. Hebe’s response? She has never thought about the question and adds that regardless of the other’s sexuality, whether they like women or men, so long as it is someone she can get along, she has no worries and restrictions on herself in getting to know them and befriending them. At the end of her response, the reporter again carefully asks, that can he decipher this as her liking guys. To which Hebe  quipped, I like guys. And there was a (really long) moment of awkward silence.

With her two friends Selina and Ella now married, Hebe has not thought about marriage yet. In fact she is able to accept being in a long relationship without marriage, as she finds marriage rather troublesome. But if her other half needs the ‘ritual’ of marriage, or if taking into considerations when giving birth to a child where legal rights and protection are involved, she is willing to enter into a marriage. But standing from the view point of love, marriage has no true meaning. The reporter asked if she will like to have kids of her own, her eyes brightened and quickly answered yes. She is also open to adoption, though she will prefer to give birth to her own child if she still can.

Beyond the video, the reporter also asked if she was a parent, what kind of parent will she be? She said she wants to be the role of the angel, where she cares for the child and is rarely fierce. Then she will force the father to be the devil, enforcing rules on the kid.
