2013.11.29 Hebe on air UFO 夜光家族
It’s a tradition I think, for Hebe to go on UFO Radio Network’s 夜光家族 (Ye Guang Jia Zu) program on the night of her album release.
It’s the same for this year as well. This time I felt the interview was somewhat lacking in in-depth conversations about her album, probably in part due to the new app from the radio station. Both Hebe and the host were caught up looking at messages from the app that their interview largely surrounded around it. It’s nice to have some interaction between listeners and the artiste, especially some who post really hilarious stuffs, but it should really be limited to the first, say, 5minutes?
Nonetheless, (the highlight is) you will hear Hebe singing along 你快樂未必我快樂 (Your Happiness Doesn’t Equate to Mine) at 19:50.
She shares that 愛著愛著就永遠 (Love On And It’s Forever) is a song that she ‘salvaged’ when she was loitering around the Production Dept in Office. The song was never intended for her to sing, but she heard the demo and told the composer, I want to sing it. Interesting how it came about to be in the album. Also, when she was asked about how much she now listens to professional advice, she said 60-70%, but sometimes she does regret it until when the song is released and widely received does she come to terms with it and appreciate their keen eye for these details/market demand.
